In the last home game of the season, the Lions battled against the Evergreen Geoducks. Multnomah University was honoring their seniors on the night including Kaitlin Wenz, Alaygza Portis, Kalena Gipson, Elise Graham, Shaila Mays, and Anna Patterson. 

The Game:
    In the first half, it was a slow start for both teams as a basket was not scored until four minutes into the game. Things quickly heated up at Lytle Gym as the Geoducks tough press forced 8 turnovers in the first quarter giving them a 7 point edge. The Lions kept it close till halftime as Geoducks maintianed a 6 point lead. Coming out of the half, the Geoducks hit three quick 3's to quickly get their lead up to 13. This trend continued the rest of the quarter with the Geoducks leading by 23 by the end of the 3rd. In the 4th, the Lions showed some life, clawing their way back into the game the Lions got the lead down to 11. However, Evergreen finished strong, winning with a final scoree of 77-61.

The Numbers:
Evergreen had 29 points in the 3rd quarter, the most in the game. 
The Geoducks drained nine 3's on the day. 
Multnomah snagged 9 steals in the game.

Next up:
Multnomah has finished up their schedule at home. However, they still have two more games on the road to finish off the season. The Lions travel to Idaho to compete against Lewis-Clark State on Friday, February 17th at 5:30 PM.
