The Multnomah Women's Basketball team is gearing up for an exciting season as they transition from a dynamic preseason to the highly anticipated conference play. With a record of 1-2, the Lions have demonstrated their prowess on the court, leaving fans eager for more matchups.

In their latest preseason clash, the Lions secured a hard-fought victory against Linfield College, prevailing with a final score of 86-77. The team showcased resilience and determination, setting the tone for what promises to be an electrifying season.

The preseason also saw the Lions embark on a challenging journey to Hawaii, facing tough competition from Chaminade University and the University of Hawaii-Hilo. Despite facing setbacks on the road, the team gained valuable experience that will undoubtedly contribute to their growth and development as they head into conference play.

This season brings a fresh roster for the Multnomah Women's Basketball team, with the majority of the squad being new additions to the program. Only two returning players add a layer of experience to complement the enthusiasm and talent of the newcomers. Head Coach Reid Takatsuka, in his inaugural year with the program, has been instrumental in molding the team into a cohesive unit.

With the preseason serving as a testing ground, the Lions are primed to make a statement as they open conference play against Warner Pacific University on Tuesday. Fans can expect an exhilarating matchup as the team looks to build off of a hard fought preseason.
