Multnomah opened the match well with a 5-1 run capped by libero Sabrina DeJesus-Bair's first kill of the season, but SOU took control with a 10-0 run that turned their 8-6 deficit into a 16-8 lead.  Emma Ryan finished off the first set with a kill for the Raiders.

The second set was close until Southern Oregon pulled away with a 5-0 outburst that burgeoned its lead to 20-12, using three combination blocks anchored by Elliott Cook in that run.  Kylie Barcroft's two service aces ended the set.

Multnomah again burst out of the blocks in the third set, never trailing in the early going while building a seven-point lead of 16-9.  Amundsen led the way with three kills during that time.  A kill by Cook started the Raiders' comeback, however, and they eventually tied it 18-18 before taking the lead on a Lions' attack error.  Multnomah regained the lead at 22-21 on an SOU set error, but the Raiders earned the next four points on kills bu Cook and Dani Johnson and two MU hitting miscues to secure the match.
