Volleyball Travels to College of Idaho and No. 6 Eastern Oregon

PORTLAND, Ore. – After a tiring weekend at home, the Multnomah University volleyball team will head out on one of their toughest road trip of the year, playing College of Idaho and Friday and sixth-ranked Eastern Oregon on Saturday.

Last Week the Lions took Cascade Conference powerhouse Southern Oregon to five sets, eventually losing 13-25, 25-19, 26-24, 25-23 and 15-10. The next night, MU started strong against Oregon Tech, claiming the first set, but it wouldn't be enough as the Owls won in four.

Freshman Hannah Antal shined over the weekend, leading her team in kills both nights as she totaled 13 against Southern and a career high 14 against Oregon Tech. She combined for a hitting percentage of .375 in both matches. Antal also added five aces, bringing her season total to 17, the third highest total in the conference.

Other Highlights:
-Sophomore setter Marissa Rhodes tallied a season high 32 assists against Southern Oregon, bringing her career total to 672.
-Freshman Maile Kam leads the team in digs, totaling 128, and is second in kills with 111.
-Multnomah still ranks third in the CCC in opponent hitting percentage, holding them to .152. Only No.20 Northwest and No. 6 Eastern Oregon are ahead of MU.
