PORTLAND, Ore. – After almost a month without a home game, the Multnomah University women's basketball team will make a return to Jim Skagen Court this weekend as they welcome in Cascade Conference opponents College of Idaho on Friday and Eastern Oregon on Saturday.
The Lions (3-11, 1-5 CCC) earned their first CCC victory over Walla Walla on the road but have since dropped their last two conference games. MU will try to get back on to the winning side of things as they come against a C of I team that had dropped four of their last five competitions, entering the weekend with a record of 3-9 overall and 2-4 in the CCC.
Junior guard
Miranda Schmillen has been a top performer for the Lions since earning a starting spot, averaging a team high 9.9 points per game and totaling a another high in 25 assists through 11 games.
Senior forward Lexi Govert leads the team in total points scored with 127 points, an average of 9.1 ppg, followed by junior forward
Lacie Kamper who averaged 7.4 points per game while also tallying 7.4 rebounds.
As a team, the Lions are averaging just over 57 points a game while shooting 33 percent from the field, including 28 percent from behind the arc. Defensively, MU ranks as the ninth scoring defense in the conference, allowing 74 points per game, putting themselves ahead of Evergreen State and Walla Walla.

-Have won five of their last seven contests.
-The Mountaineers hold the sixth best scoring offense in the CCC, averaging 65.1 points per game.
-Also hold the top defense, allowing only 54.3 points a game
