PORTLAND, Ore. – After two hard weeks on the road, the Multnomah University volleyball team will return to their home court on Friday and Saturday as they host College of Idaho and seventh-ranked Eastern Oregon.
Last week, MU faced their first ever NAIA ranked opponent in eighth-ranked Southern Oregon, where they dropped three sets on the road. The Lions played probably one of their best sets of the year against Oregon Tech, leading most of the way before the Owls took over in the three set match.
By the Numbers: The Lions will look to be more consistent as they cut down on errors and improve their attack. Right now MU is giving up 2.5 points off of service errors and have dropped their attack percentage to .103 on the season.

Miranda Halverson has led the attack for the Lions recording 82 and 52 kills respectively.
Miranda Schmillen tallied three aces against Oregon Tech while
Marissa Rhodes moved her season total to 150 assists.
About College of Idaho: -At 4-2 in conference play, the Yotes sit at third place in the conference
-The Yotes tied for second place in the CCC Preseason Coaches' Poll behind Eastern Oregon
-C of I has recorded the second most kills in the season with 693
-Ranked fourth in blocks and seventh in opponent hitting percentage in the CCC
-Ended last season in fourth place with a 13-5 conference record
About Eastern Oregon:-For the second week in a row, EOU is ranked seventh in the NAIA Top 25 Poll
-The Mountaineers was picked sixth overall in the preseason NAIA Poll
-Selected as the preseason favorite to win the CCC regular season title with six first place votes
-Shared the regular season last year with Southern Oregon, finishing with a 16-2 CCC record
