KLAMATH FALLS, Ore. - As things continue to heat up for the Multnomah women's track and field team, two Lions competed at two separate meets hosted by Oregon Tech in what was a big weekend for Multnomah, with the rest of the track and field program competing at meets in Portland and Eugene during the same weekend.

Isabelle Raasch was Multnomah's sole member who competed at the CCC Multi-Events Championships, where the junior came in seventh overall in the Women's Heptathlon. Raasch's best performance came in the Women's Long Jump, where she finished in fifth place with a mark of 4.83m.
Kassidy Chamberlin wrapped up Multnomah's weekend in Klamath Falls, as she competed in the Oregon Tech Invite after having missed most of the outdoor track season with an injury earlier in the year. The junior finished in second in the Women's Triple Jump, recording a mark of 9.91m.
"I'm really proud of how Izzy and Kassidy performed last weekend - it was great to see Kassidy back out there after being out for a while, and Izzy continues to grow with each of her performances this season," shared head coach Ben Barber.
Both Raasch and Chamberlin will look to continue their fine form at next weekend's N&N Berney Classic in Salem, Oregon, hosted by Corban University.
