Multnomah Track and Field Sets Records at Eastern Oregon

The Multnomah Track and Field traveled to their final meet in La Grande, Oregon at Eastern Oregon University on February 17-18th, 2023 to try to give the team a final opportunity to qualify for Indoor Nationals. Jeramea Dennison started the day off on Saturday and opened up in Long Jump getting a lifetime best of 5.24m winning the meet and doubled back in the Triple Jump with another PR jumping 10.94m. Charles Sanders followed behind winning the Long Jump and jumping a lifetime best of 6.53m. Daniel Dixon and Devonte Davis opened up in the 60m and Davis ran a lifetime best crossing the line at 7.33 for his first 60m debut and Dixon raced to finals and got another PR running 6.93 also snagging the facility record winning the 60m. Lastly, saving the best for last DeAsia Wosachlo ran the 1000m, broke the school record and PRed running 3:28.89. The Multnomah Track and Field Team took care of business on the road this past weekend, the National Qualifiers will get ready to travel for Indoor Nationals and the rest of the squad starts to transition and get ready for Outdoor Season opening up at Lane Community College on March 11th, 2023.
