SALEM, Ore. - Four different members of the Multnomah track and field program earned top-10 finishes at the Nancy & Norm Berney Classic last weekend, hosted by Corban University.

Multnomah's
DeAsia Wosachlo was the top performer on the weekend, as the senior clinched a win in the Women's 3000m Steeplechase. Wosachlo recorded a new PR of 12:06.68, while simultaneously securing a CCC qualifying mark, with this year's championship quickly approaching.
In the field events,
Isabelle Raasch narrowly missed out on a CCC qualifying mark in the High Jump, finishing in third with a new PR of 1.52m. The junior followed that performance up with another PR in the Long Jump, finishing in sixth with a mark of 4.96m, just ahead of teammate
Kassidy Chamberlin in ninth (4.36m). Raasch wrapped up the weekend with a fourth-place finish in the 400m Hurdles (1:10.59), while Chamberlin achieved a new CCC qualifying mark in Triple Jump, finishing in second with a mark of 9.84m.
For the men,
Fredrick Watkins secured a seventh-place finish in the 800 Meters (2:04.02), followed closely by fellow teammate
Anthony Simon in eleventh (2:13.69).
The Lions will attempt to secure any last minute CCC qualification marks next week at the OSU High Performance Meet, hosted by NCAA DI Oregon State University.
