The Multnomah Men's Golf Team had been anticipating the Walla Walla Invite at Wine Valley Golf Course for several months and the team was determined to make their mark.

Alden Fay, a sophomore, led the charge.  He finished 3 over par in the two round tournament and secured an impressive 2nd place overall finish. Alden's standout moment came on the second day when he tied for the lowest round, shooting a brilliant 71, one under par, setting the pace for the team's success.

Aaron Brown, with his consistent play secured a tied 7th place finish with a 7 over par.  Jack Leidy rounded out Multnomah's top ten finishers in 10^th shooting 10 over par.

With their combined efforts, the Lions won the tournament by 7 strokes over College of Idaho, Walla Walla University and Corban University.  The Lions were in 3^rd after the first round and shot just 10 over in the second round to secure the victory.

Next week is the third of the regular season CCC Tournaments at the Lewis-Clark State Tournament in Lewiston, ID. Prepared to face off against other formidable Cascade Conference teams, they look to continue their momentum heading towards the CCC Championships at the end of April.
