Lions Defeated by the Owls

Box Score Kicking off the Cascade Conference games this weekend; the Multnomah Lions fell to the Oregon Tech Owls 0-2.

The Owls kept the Lions on their heels for most of the 1st half. The Owls dominated with a total of 11 shots with 6 of being on goal. In the 13th minute, Ellis Harwood found the back of the net after coming in from the left side.

The Multnomah Lions fought to find the equalizing goal but couldn't get past Ryan Solis in the goal. The Lions shot a total of 8 shots with 5 being on frame but it just wasn't enough to get a goal.

The Owls came out strong again in the 2nd half, scoring in the 61st minute when Cooper Hunt and Ryan Pearson connected for a goal.

When asked about his team, Coach Dalon Parker said "we have some things to continue working on, but I know we have what it takes to be in the rankings this year. Looking forward to see what they can do as the season progresses."

It will be a quick turnaround as the Multnomah Lions will compete against The Southern Oregon Raiders tomorrow at their home field.
