PORTLAND, Ore. - Four Lions from the Multnomah men's soccer team have been named to the College Sports Communicators Academic All-District® teams, the organization announced on Tuesday.
The 2024-25 Academic All-District® Men's Soccer teams, selected by College Sports Communicators, recognize the nation's top student-athletes for their combined performances on the field and in the classroom. The CSC Academic All-America® program separately recognizes men's soccer honorees in four divisions — NCAA Division I, NCAA Division II, NCAA Division III, and NAIA.
Select Academic All-District® honorees were considered for advancement to the CSC Academic All-America® ballot to be voted on by CSC members. First-, second- and third-team Academic All-America® honorees will be announced December 10, 2024.
Senior forward
Paul Einero picked up his first-ever Academic All-District® honor. Einero was also an Academic All-Conference honoree in 2024 and carries a 3.67 grade point average (GPA) while studying Business Administration. On the field, Einero led the Lions with 13 goals on the year while adding one assist for 27 points, which helped him earn 1st Team All-Conference honors.
Senior midfielder
Aghiles Lamara is next up on the list of CSC Academic All-District® honorees for Multnomah. The 2024 Academic All-Conference and All-Conference Honorable Mention award winner was a force on the field for Multnomah, racking up two goals and 10 assists for 14 points over his two seasons as a Lion. In the classroom, Lamara carries a 3.65 GPA while studying Business Administration.
Making his first appearance on the CSC Academic All-District® teams is sophomore defender
Martin Estrada, who was also named to the 2024 Academic All-Conference team. The Vancouver, Washington native has started every game he's played for Multnomah, anchoring their back line while maintaining a 3.68 GPA in Business Marketing.
Senior defender
Chad Le Roux rounds out the four Lions selected to the Academic All-District® teams. Le Roux made 26 appearances in his two years as a Lion, and was named to the 2024 Academic All-Conference team. Off the field, Le Roux owns a 3.76 GPA in Exercise Science.
