After earning their first ever CCC Championship Tournament berth in program history, seniors
Paul Einero,
Aghiles Lamara, and
Axcele Biteghe were all awarded with All-Conference honors following their displays during the regular season. Einero made 1st Team All-Conference, while Lamara and Biteghe both earned Honorable Mention.
"Each of them are more than deserving of these awards," said head coach Dalon Parker. "They've each been a huge part of the program for the past two years, and I know we'll miss them next season. They all worked tirelessly in the offseason to get to this point, and I couldn't be prouder."
Einero, a forward from Cape Town, South Africa, ended the regular season as the conference top goalscorer with 13 goals on the year. This brings his total goal tally to 20 over his two seasons as a Lion, making him the program's leading goalscorer, overtaking Michael Appiah (17) and Noe Favila (15). He also led the conference in points (27), points per game (1.69/g), and goals per game (0.81/g).Â
Lamara was instrumental in Multnomah's attack this season, pulling the strings and creating chances all year. The French midfielder ended the regular season leading the conference in assists with nine, while also coming in second in assists per game (0.53/g). This brings his tally to two goals and 10 assists in 34 appearances for the Lions.
Biteghe was also a constant threat for Multnomah going forward, ending the regular season with five goals and three assists. Most notable of all was the game-winner he had in Multnomah's thrilling 3-2 win over cross-town rivals Warner Pacific University, which was the first time the Lions had ever beaten the Knights in program history. The Gabonese international ends his two year career at Multnomah with six goals and four assists.
