Box Score REDDING, Cal. – The Multnomah University women's soccer team opened its season tonight in a non-conference game against Simpson University, losing 0-5 on the road.

GAME SUMMARY:

• Multnomah stayed aggressive against the Red Hawks and ended the game with 10 shots, 3 of which were on goal.
• Mary Richardson, and Persia Anderson, each attempted a shot on goal in the first half and Brooklyn McFadden nearly put the Lions on the board with her shot on goal in the 32^nd minute of play, but unfortunately it was blocked by Paige Reed.
• Trisha Priest stayed active and energetic for the Lions and had 14 saves on the night.
• For Simpson University, Sandy Lule finished the night with 2 goals, one in the 12th minute of play and the other in the 27th.
• The Red Hawks maintained a balanced offensive attack as Paulina Diaz, Caroline Foreseth, and Haley Moebes each ended the night with a scored a goal of their own.
