Lions End Season With Road Losses to EOU & COI

Multnomah (5-9-4, 3-7-2 CCC) ended the regular season with two road losses last weekend against Eastern Oregon University and College of Idaho. The Lions came just short of making their first-ever CCC Conference Tournament appearance, ending the regular season in 9th place behind Corban University, one position higher than they had finished the year prior.

"We're obviously disappointed in how the season ended, and I feel for the girls who have been a part of this program for all 4 years," shared head coach Dalon Parker. "If some results during the year had gone our way, we would be prepping for the [conference] tournament right now. It's definitely a hard pill to swallow now, but I'm proud of the girls and the strides we made as a program this year."

Among the standouts for the Lions this season was goalkeeper Jennifer Alvillar. She made a name for herself the very first weekend of the conference season when she kept a clean sheet and scored a penalty on the road against Southern Oregon University. The Phoenix, Arizona native recorded 111 saves on the year, which was the second-most in the conference. She also had the third-highest save percentage (.816), the third-highest saves-per-game average (6.53/game), and the fourth-most shutouts with five.

Senior defender Annika Rahf was another standout for Multnomah this season, leading the team in goals (3) assists (2), and points (8). The center back and captain from Newberg, Oregon, anchored Multnomah's backline all season, and proved to be a threat on set pieces.
