BILLINGS, Mont. - Multnomah fell short in an offensive onslaught against Rocky Mountain College yesterday, as the Battlin' Bears secured a 3-0 win over the Lions, who now move to 3-5-2 in conference play. Rocky tallied 24 shots, 16 of which were on target, while simultaneously locking down Multnomah, who failed to record a single shot on the day.
"We really struggled to get anything going offensively, and they made us pay for our mistakes," head coach Dalon Parker shared following Sunday's defeat. "They [Rocky] were very well organized, and made things uncomfortable for us when we were in possession. We had good moments that came in flashes, but we weren't able to string anything together that led to something dangerous offensively."
Jennifer Alvillar recorded 12 saves in net for Multnomah, bringing her tally to 91 saves on the season while holding a .843 save percentage.
Multnomah will close out the regular season on the road against Eastern Oregon and College of Idaho next Friday, November 1st and Saturday, November 2nd.
