Hustlin' Owls Battle Past Lions

Klamath Falls, Ore. - The Multnomah University men's soccer team faced off against the Oregon Tech Owls on Friday afternoon, falling 0-9.
 

THE BASICS:

Final: Multnomah 0, Oregon Tech 9

Records: MU (0-15 , 0-10 CCC), Oregon Tech (9-4-3, 6-4-1 CCC)

Location: Klamath Falls, Ore.

GAME SUMMARY:

The Lions did their best against the Owls on Friday afternoon but couldn't keep up as the Owls offense heated up. John Sarma of the Owls scored in the 7th minute of the game followed by goals by Brennan Gazdik and Anthony Santillan. The Owls came out of the first half with 4 goals and the Lions struggled to turn the score around as the Owls secured 5 more goals in the second half. 

 

The Lions finished the game with 2 shots on goal, compared to the 37 shots attempted by Oregon Tech. 

 

Goalkeeper Jose David Lopez worked hard to defend the Lions and had 10 saves throughout the game.

The Lions will challenge the Southern Oregon University Raiders on Sunday, October 27th at 12:30 PM.
