Box Score SALEM, Ore. – On a rain-soaked Friday afternoon at the CFC Soccer Complex, the NAIA's 10^th-ranked Corban University Knights thundered past the visiting Multnomah University Lions with a quintet of goals to take a 5-0 victory in Cascade Collegiate Conference men's soccer action.
 
The Warriors wasted little time in getting on the board, Timur Zhividze finishing off a through ball from Julio Miranda and Rolando Velasquez a mere 1:27 into the game.  Alex Segovia and Nathaniel Cheney added scores in the 22^nd and 29^th minutes, both assisted by Velasquez, to give the Warriors a 3-0 halftime lead.  Corban tacked on two more in the second half, Zhividze scoring again in the 58^th minute off Velasquez's fourth assist of the day, and Velasquez ending the scoring with an unassisted goal in the 60^th minute.
 
Manuel Guillermo-Olivares had five saves in 77 minutes in goal for the Lions, and JohnMark Townsend had one save while playing the final 13 minutes.  Jose de la Torre, Nicolas Mboungou, and Marcus Krause had one shot each for Multnomah, with de la Tore's the only one on goal. 
 
Corban peppered the net with 29 total shots, 11 on goal.  Jordan Farr made one save in getting credit for the shutout.  It was a "clean" game in the rain with only nine fouls called, six on Multnomah and three on Corban.
 
The Lions are now 2-13 overall and 0-11 in the CCC, while the Knights are 12-1-2 overall and 8-1-1 in the conference.
