PORTLAND, Ore. – An improving Multnomah University men's soccer team will have another chance to earn a Cascade Collegiate Conference win at home this weekend, hosting No.25 Rocky Mountain College on Friday and The College of Idaho on Saturday at Delta Park.
The Lions (2-4, 0-2 CCC) had a tough time opening up Cascade Conference play last week, falling to Oregon Tech 4-0 followed by a 3-0 loss to Southern Oregon.
Prior to last weekend, MU had outscored their opponents but now trail seven goals to 11 on the season.
The Lions have found success in their young offense this year, featuring a team that has a total of 14 underclassmen. Despite the youth, MU is creating more shots and scoring more goals than it ever has before.
Freshman
Noe Favila leads the team with 17 shots followed by sophomore
Austin McKee with 9 and freshman
Fischer Rogers with 8. Rogers and sophomore
Michael Kochis lead the team with two goals each while Kochis adds a team high three assists.
Sophomore
Manny Guillermo has had a strong start to the year in goal for the Lions, recording a conference high 34 saves through six games.

-RMC was preseason ranked No. 8 before losing to No. 14 Vanguard (Calif.) earlier in the year…They are now ranked 25
th in the NAIA Top 25 Coaches' Poll
-Rocky Mountain's single CCC win came against College of Idaho last week, winning 2-1
-The Bears average 14 shots per game, scoring 10 goals on the season while giving up seven goals in six games

College of Idaho:
-Chosen to finish in the middle of the pack after a 7-8 record last year, the Yotes hold a 2-2, 0-1 CCC record
-C of I has totaled six goals in their opening four games, averaging just under 12 shots a game.
-The Yotes won the meeting between the teams last year, claiming a 4-0 victory at home over the Lions
-Guilherme Siquerira leads the Yotes in goals scored with four while keeper Grant Billings has 17 saves.
