PORTLAND, Ore. – The Multnomah University men's soccer team continues their road stint this weekend as they head across town to Warner Pacific on Friday before traveling to La Grande, Ore., for a game with Eastern Oregon.
Last Week: The Lions traveled through the state of Washington, facing The Evergreen State College in a game that ended in a 4-1 loss and Northwest University who defeated MU 3-1.
Noe Favila scored both goals on the weekend for the Lions.
Highlights: Favila has led the offense of the Lions this season, recording a team high 27 shots, landing just over 50 percent of them on target. He also leads the team with four goals scored on the season.
Sophomore goalie
Manny Guillermo leads the Cascade Collegiate Conference in saves, tallying 73 saves so far this season. His average of 7.3 saves per game is also the highest of any keeper in the CCC with more than four games in goal.
As a team, MU has totaled 10 goals in 10 games with seven assists.
Michael Kochis leads the team with three assists and has added two goals of his own.
