PORTLAND, Ore. – After two weeks of road games, the Multnomah University men's soccer team returns to Delta Park as they play host to Northwest Christian and 18
th-ranked Corban University this Friday and Saturday.
Last Week: The Lions fell in a heartbreaker to Warner Pacific 2-1 in double overtime. After trailing for a majority of the match, the Knights snuck a goal in with less than five minutes to play sending the game to overtime before scoring the winning goal in the second period of overtime.
Other Highlights: Freshman striker
Noe Favila ranks eighth in the Cascade Collegiate Conference in shots per game average at 2.67, totaling 32 shots on the season. Favila leads MU with four goals scored this season adding one assist for a team high nine points.
Sophomore goalie
Manny Guillermo continues to lead the conference in saves, tallying 102 saves in 12 matches, 35 more than any other goalie in the CCC. His average of 8.5 saves per game ranks sixth highest in the entire NAIA.
