MU Prepares for Last Road Trip of the Season

PORTLAND, Ore. – The Multnomah University men's soccer team will compete in their final two road games of the season this weekend, traveling to Walla Walla on Friday before playing a non-conference game against Trinity Lutheran on Saturday.
 
Friday's match will feature two winless teams, with Walla Walla entering the weekend with a 0-10 record, as both teams battle for the first victory of the season.
 
This will be the second meeting between the Lions and Trinity Lutheran after the Lions scored their only goal of the season in an 8-1 loss in Klamath Falls, Ore., earlier this year.
 
Michael Kochis and Austin McKee have led the offense for MU, recording 16 and 15 shots respectively. Manny Guillermo has been fantastic in goal for the Lions, approaching 100 saves with 91 through eight games.
 
MU is coming off a close road loss last Saturday against a Corban team which was ranked 10th at the time in the NAIA Coaches' Top 25 Poll. The Lions fought to a 3-0 loss against the Warriors last Saturday.
 
About Walla Walla:
-The Wolves rank last in the conference in total shots with 56 shots on the season
-Hold a record of 0-10 in conference games
-WWU has scored five goals this season while allowing 53 goals
-This is also Walla Walla's first year playing in the Cascade Conference
 
About Trinity Lutheran:
-Trinity Lutheran has allowed 41 goals this season through eight games
-Only win of the season came against MU during the first week of the season
-Offensively, TLC has scored 12 goals total
