MU Hosts Evergreen, Northwest in First Home Games

PORTLAND, Ore. – For the first time in program history, the Multnomah University men's soccer team will host their first home games welcoming in the Evergreen State College on Friday at Madison High School at 6:30 p.m. and Northwest University on Saturday starting at 5 p.m. at Portland Christian High School.

This last weekend, the Lions faced their worst loss of the season, and 14-0 final at now No. 15 Rocky Mountain, but came back to play one of their best games at the College of Idaho who ended 4-0 in favor of the Yotes.

As a young MU squad continues to fight through injuries and eligibility issues, the offensive side of things for the Lions have been nonexistent. MU has only attempted 35 shots on the season with one shot resulting in a goal against Trinity Lutheran in the third game of the season.

Multnomah (0-7, 0-4 CCC) hopes to change things this weekend in front of their home crowd as they host two good conference teams.

*MU will play all home games a various high schools in the Portland area while the University works to find a home field in the near future.
