The Multnomah University Men's and Women's Cross Country team went to Caldwell, Idaho this week to compete against conference rivals in the 2023 CCC Preview Meet.

Coach Ben Barber said "It was nice to be on the course we will see again in November. I believe it is an advantage to the runners to have this Preview before the Conference Meet. We had some great times on both teams."

Out of the 50 runners, Gabrielle Metzger, making her MU debut, clocked in at 15:35 minutes finishing 22nd overall. DeAsia Wosachlo finished 39th in a time of 16:51.

Continuing his very strong start to the season, Cade Kooch finished 13th overall (62 total runners) in a time of 19:13 minutes. Noa Miller finished 42nd in a personal best of 20:54. Freshman Damian Avalos made his MU debut finishing 47th in 21:21. Justin Almendarez finished 55th in a personal best time of 22:52.

The Lions will have a couple of weeks to prepare for their next meet on September 30th. They will be competing in the Charles Bowles Invitational down in Salem, Oregon.
