Multnomah's men's basketball head coach Curt Bickley has been selected in the top 100 Most Influential NAIA Head Coaches as voted by Silver Waves Media this week. To be considered for this list, the coach must have five plus years of head coaching experience and must have earned over ten wins per season on average.
This is the first time that a Multnomah coach has been selected to represent a top 100 in this nature. The 2021-2022 season marks Curt Bickley's 19th season as Head Coach for Multnomah. Bickley began in 2003, and during his time prior to joining the NAIA, MU won two NCCAA West Region Championships and played in 8 National Championship Tournaments. MU moved up to NAIA in 2014, and since then under Bickley's tenure have set NAIA records that still stand in place, such as most 3-pointers made in one game and most 3-pointers made per game. Bickley has also led the Lions on 7 mission trips as a team to Taiwan and 2 to the Czech Republic. He boasts over 200 career wins.
Congratulations to head coach Curt Bickley and to the other Silver Waves Media Top 100 Influential NAIA Head Coaches. Additional information about the nominees can be found at 100 Most Impactful Head Coaches in Men's NAIA Basketball (silverwavesmedia.com)
