PORTLAND, Ore. – It was announced by the Cascade Collegiate Conference today that the Multnomah University Men's Basketball team is officially on a 14-day mandatory pause due to COVID-19 protocols. 

The earliest the team could return to training would be April 28th. As a result, the Lions Cascade Collegiate Conference contests against Warner Pacific University (April 16th and 17th) and Oregon Tech (April 23rd and 24th) have been canceled. The games against Corban University on May 2nd and 3rd remain as scheduled at this time. 

According to the CCC's Oregon Health Authority-approved protocols, teams with fewer than 50 individuals are required to suspend activities when three or more have been put in isolation and may resume two weeks after the date of the most recent positive coronavirus test.

MU's women's team is still playing as scheduled.
