PORTLAND, Ore. – The Multnomah University men's basketball team returns to Jim Skagen Court for their final two home Cascade Collegiate Conference games of the season against No. 8 Northwest Christian and Corban.
Last Week: The return home after a long trip from Eastern Oregon and College of Idaho.
Blake Updike totaled a game high 33-points against Eastern in a 106-74 loss.
By the Numbers: Updike's 33 point performance kept him at the top in scoring in the CCC, now averaging 22.5 points per game. Behind him is
Thomas Simien who is at 11.8 points per game which ranks 28
th in the conference.
Jordan Paris ranks fourth in the conference in rebounds at 8.8 per game while Simien is at 11
th with 6.9 rebounds.
Updike and
Ben Grandle have combined for 148 3-pointers on the season as the Lions average 11.7 threes made per game, the highest average in the conference.

Previous Matchups:Northwest Christian: The Beacons earned a win in the first meeting between the Lions, taking a 103-83 victory at home. Omar Richards led NCU with 22 points while four others landed in double figures. Updike scored a high of 22 points for MU.
Corban: The Warriors had six players finish in double figures in Corban's 99-73 win over the Lions earlier this year. Updike tallied 24 points while Grandle added 20 points.
About Northwest Christian:-Northwest Christian hold the number one spot in the conference standings with a 22-4 overall record, going 15-1 in CCC play.
-The Beacons remain as the eighth-ranked team in the country after the NAIA Division II Top 25 Coaches' Poll came out earlier this week.
-NCU hold their opponents to the lowest scoring average at 68.9 points per game while scoring 83.3 points a game, the third highest average.
-The Beacons are led by Javonte Byrd and Omar Richards who average 14.4 and 13 points per game respectively.
About Corban:-Corban sits in the middle of the conference standings with an 8-8 CCC record as they look to secure a spot in the conference playoffs.
-The Warriors are 4-6 on the road this season and are currently riding a three game win streak.
-Corban is tied for the fifth ranked defense, allowing only 78.3 points per game.
-The Warriors have two players in the top 10 in scoring in the conference with A.J. Monterossi at fifth with 19 points per game and Cyrus Ward at eighth with 18.5 points per game.
