PORTLAND, Ore. – The Multnomah University men's basketball will venture out on their second California road trip weekend, playing against Menlo College and Cal-Maritime in the Markie Cosca Memorial Tournament in Vallejo, Calif.
Last Week: The Lions (2-3) traveled on their longest trip of the season last week, playing in Southern California against West Coast Baptist and Antelope Valley. MU fell in both games which included a 99-90 overtime loss against Antelope Valley.
Highlights: The Lions hold the third highest scoring offense the Cascade Collegiate Conference, scoring 90.4 points per game. Multnomah ranks fourth among the conference schools in rebounding, collecting 43.8 rebounds per contest.
Junior
Darius Redrick is currently tied for first in the conference in scoring average, averaging 20 points per game Redrick's average of 5.8 assists per game ranks fourth in the CCC.
Ben Grandle has picked up right where he left off last season from behind the arc, tallying a conference high 27 threes in the first five games. His average of 19 points per game is seventh in the CCC.
