Men's Basketball Hosts Walla Walla on Saturday Night

PORTLAND, Ore. – The Multnomah University men's basketball team will try to end their current losing skid this weekend as they return home to face Cascade Conference opponent Walla Walla University on Saturday night at 8:30 p.m. on Jim Skagen Court.
 
Last Week: The Lions came away with two losses over the weekend, falling to Corban on Friday and Northwest Christian on Saturday. CCC leading scorer Blake Updike totaled 46 points combined in both games.
 
By the Numbers: Updike sits just ahead of College of Idaho's Joey Nebeker, averaging 22.6 points to lead the conference. Senior guard Jordan Paris hold the third best rebounding average in the CCC at 9.3 rebounds per game.
 
As a team, the Lions average the highest amount of 3-pointers made per game at 12.1 while Updike averages the most made per game at 3.4 while Ben Grandle is third in the CCC at 2.8 3-pointers per game. Currently, the Lions are averaging 79.4 points per contest.
