Lions Fall to College of Idaho

The Multnomah Women's Basketball Team stay at home to play against The College of Idaho on February 4th, 2023, at 3:00 pm.

The Game:
The Multnomah Lions stayed at home to play against The College of Idaho. The Lions opened well and challenged the Wolves by pressing on defense. Shots were sinking for both teams, making the game tight for each play in the first quarter. The Mounties averaged 47.3 for FG, 48.0% for 3-pointers and 65.0% for FT. The Lions averages were 37.1% for FG, 21.1% for 3-pointers and 83.3% for FT. Both teams kept the game high energy and the Lions started to fade when the Wolves got a stop after halftime ultimately pulling away and having a 17-point lead to win over Multnomah 77 to 65. The top scorers for College of Idaho were Mia Austin and Kenadee French both tying with 18 points. Austin had 3 rebounds and a block and steal and French grabbed 2 rebounds and 3 steals. Lexi Mitchell scored 16 points, grabbed 7 rebounds and a steal for the Wolves.  Lastly, Sienna Riggle played incredible defense with 13 big rebounds, 7 points, a block, and a steal. The top scorers for the Lions were Alaygza Portis with 16 points, 5 rebounds and 2 steals, Shaila Mays with 13 points, 3 rebounds and 3 steals and lastly Dalila Rincan with 12 points, 4 steals and 4 rebounds. The Lions continue to stay at home to play against Northwest University on February 10th, 2023, at 5:30pm.
