The Multnomah Lions returned home to host another anticipated matchup against Eastern Oregon University on February 3
rd, 2023, at 7:30pm. The Lions were coming off a loss to Southern Oregon and wanted to regain their winning streak at Lytle Gymnasium. Multnomah and Eastern were scrappy in the beginning and the Lions were staying at the 3-point line sinking numerous contested shots. Both teams were aggressive on defensive, but the Mounties were moving the ball around well and driving into the paint to draw fouls. Both teams were making the game tight for each play, but the Lions suffered by turn overing the ball when a play needed to be made. Both teams kept the game high energy and kept sinking contested shots back and forth and the Mounties riled up their fans with a few dunks as well. Multnomah tried to take control of the game by getting a stop and end the 1-point lead, but Eastern got a buzzer beater and closed the game with a win over the Lions 72 to 71 making a hard loss for Multnomah at home. The Mounties scored 24 points in paint and 12 off turnovers and the Lions 14 had points in the paint and 20 off turnovers. Mounties' top scorers for the game were Phillip Malatare and Adam Orr who both tied with 23 points, Malatare got 7 rebounds, a block and 4 steals and Orr got 3 rebounds. The Lions top scorers were

Wallace Ungwiluk had 18 points, 4 rebounds, and a steal, and lastly
Zach Richardson had 14 points, 6 rebounds and 1 steal. The Lions have another game at home against The College of Idaho on February 4
