TACOMA, Wash. – Traveling north to open their season, the Multnomah University Lions fell to the NCAA DIII Loggers of the University of Puget Sound with a final score of 4-0.
The Loggers made it on the board in the seventh minute of play, which was the only goal of the first half. Puget Sound was quick to score in the second, landing two more goals within a minute of each other. The final goal came off a penalty kick in the eighty third minute.
Noe Magana led the Lions in generating attacks, with 7 total shots – 2 of which were saved by the Boxers. Pablo Mendoza tallied 5 saves in his near seventy three minutes of play.

The Lions will have a quick turnaround as they play their second game of the season on the road again, as they challenge another NCAA DIII school – the Pacific University Boxers. The game is set to begin on Thursday, September 2
