ASHLAND, Ore. - The Raiders of Southern Oregon University got the best of the Lions on Friday night, defeating MU 97-61.
SOU (18-8, 14-5 CCC)Â jumped out to a 20-2 lead seven minutes into the game after back-to-back triples from Sparling and Fryer and never looked back.
The Raiders forced the Lions into 21 turnovers while only turning the ball over 13 times, and posted a 26-12 advantage in assists as a team.

Alaygza Portis who logged an 18-point, 10-rebound double-double while Senior
Rachelle Tau scored 16. Dalaila Rincan scored in double figures with 10 points while
Katrina Cantu scored 7, and the Lions collected 6 blocks and 8 steals as a team.
SOU was led by Syd'Nee Prior and Delaney Sparling who both scored 19 points while Kalei Iwami scored 15 points.Â
The Lions will compete in their final game of the season Saturday night at Oreogn Tech at 5:30 PM.
