PORTLAND, Ore. – The Multnomah University women's basketball went head-to-head with the Eastern Oregon University Mountaineers on Saturday night, but it was the Mountaineers who left Jim Skagen Court with a 67-58 victory.
The Lions (4-17, 1-13 CCC) trailed Eastern Oregon (16-7, 6-2 CCC) at the Half 25-38 before finding their offensive rhythm in the third quarter and cutting the Mountaineers' lead to 51-42. However, in the fourth Megan Still scored 6 of her 11 points and kept Eastern Oregon ahead, and the Lions couldn't quite close the distance.
The Lions were led by
Erykah Campbell who posted 18 points and 5 rebounds, while
Alaygza Portis and
Rachelle Tau each added 11 points.
The Mountaineers had three players score in double figures: Jane Nelson with 19, Rachel Fielder with 15, and Megan Still with 11. Jillian Albright filled the stat sheet with 6 points, 11 rebounds, and 9 assists.
