Portland, Ore. - The Lions faced-off against cross town rival Warner Pacific on Tuesday night at Jim Skagen court, but the Knights walked away with the victory 77-56.
The Lions (3-14, 0-10 CCC) came out to start the game on a 15-5 run, but the Knights (10-10, 7-5 CCC) soon found a rhythm in both their offense and on defense and were able to lead the Lions 32-25 at half. Once down double-digits, the Lions struggled to close the gap.
The Lions were led by
Dalila Rincan who had a nice game with 12 points, 8 rebounds, and 5 assists.
Erykah Campbell recorded 12 points and 9 rebounds, and
Alaygza Portis scored 11 points as well.
Courtney Jackson had 27 points for the Knights to lead all scorers, and 8 rebounds as well. Kali Kruger filled up the stat sheet with 15 points, 6 rebounds, and 5 blocks, while Gabriiella Bruno added 9 points and 7 rebounds of her own.
Up next for the Lions is back-to-back matchups with Walla Walla University this Friday at 1:00 PM and Saturday at 6:00 PM at Jim Skagen Court.
