Eugene, Ore. - The Multnomah University women's basketball team (3-11, 0-7 CCC) traveled to Northwest Christian University (12-3, 6-1 CCC) to take on the Beacons, but NCU defended their home court with a 97-75 victory over the Lions.
The Lions had a balanced offensive attack, and four Lions scored in double figures, lead by
Alaygza Portis who recorded 19 points, 5 rebounds, and two blocks, and Erykah Cambell played one of her better games of the year and posted a stat line of 14 points, 8 rebounds, and 4 blocks.
Jessica Parker scored 13 points, and teammate
Dalila Rincan scored 12 points and dished out 9 assists.
NCU also had four players in double figures: Morgan Mckinney with 26, Shanay Dotson with 17, Kayce Mock with 16, and Aspen Slifka with 15.
Coming up next for the Lions is a home matchup with The Evergreen State College on January 17th at 5:30 PM.
