Klamath Falls, Ore. – On the second night of a back-to-back the Multnomah University women's volleyball team matched up against the Oregon Tech Owls, but were overcome in three sets (9-25), (14-25), and (19-25).

GAME SUMMARY:
In the first set, the Lions got out to a slow start getting down 5-15, but the Lions continued to battle and a couple of kills by
Taryn Frey and
Maile Kam allowed the Lions to cut into the Hustlin' Owls lead.
Taylor Howie rocketed a set from
Amanda Holm that set the score to 20-24, but that was the most MU would score on the night. OIT controlled the momentum into the second and third sets, not allowing the Lions to score over twelve points in either game.
The Lions were led by
Taylor Howie with six kills, Kamaile Lebanon had five kills, and both
Emma Morcom and
Maile Kam had four kills. As a team Multnomah finished the night with twenty-five kills, twenty-three assists, and twenty-three digs.
Amanda Holm led the Lions in assists with fifteen and once again
Alyssa Mehalovich lead the defensive effort for the team in digs collecting eight.
The Hustlin' Owls were led by Kaylin Talonen
with nine kills, Melody Edwards had eight kills and attacked at .500, while Ashley Ripplinger finished with seven kills, and Nicole Reyes six. Courtney Isom had 10 assists and two aces. Edwards was involved in four of OIT's six blocks.
