LA GRANDE – The Multnomah University men's basketball team found their offense on Saturday night as they completed the season sweep of Eastern Oregon after winning 112-105 in the final road contest of the regular season.

GAME SUMMARY:

• Zach Richardson got things going early for the Lions, scoring the first five points of the game as the Lions took an 8-0 lead to start.
• MU's lead reach as high as 14 points in the first half before settling on a 52-47 advantage at the half.
• Eastern tied the game to begin the second half but could never take the lead as the Lions continued to find ways to score.
• With a three-point lead in the final minute of the game, Brett Blackstock knocked down four straight free throws to secure the win.

 
KEY PERFORMERS:

• Richardson led the Lions offensively with 42 points, shooting 13-for-26 against the Mountaineers. He combined for 73 points on the weekend.
• Behind him was Ben Grandle with 30 points as nine of his 10 buckets came from behind the arc.
• Blackstock added 23 points while Andy Brown finished with 14 points and 12 rebounds.

The Lions will return home for the final weekend of the conference regular season as they host Evergreen State and Northwest University beginning Friday.
