PORTLAND, Ore. - The Multnomah University women's volleyball team faced off against the forth ranked Eastern Oregon University on Friday night, but it was the Mountaineers who got the best of the Lions in three by scores of 16-25, 7-25, 13-25. 

Eastern Oregon Univeristy ended their night with 34 kills, and the Lions gave their best effort to compete but 20 kills was not enough for a victory and EOU showed why they are ranked as one of the best teams in the country.

Taylor Howie and Kamaile Labanon lead the way for the Lions, each finishing with five kills, while Amanda Holm dished out 15 assists. 

The Mountaineers to full advantage of their size upfront as Megan Bunn and Taylor Jet each had 8 kills for EOU, while Madison Pilon was effecient with her 13 assists. 

The Lions look to bounce back as they face of against the College of Idaho on Saturday night at 5:00 at Jim Skagen court.
