Kirkland, Wash. – The Multnomah University women's volleyball team faced off against Northwest University on Friday night, but the Eagles' size upfront was too much for the Lions to overcome as they fell 11-25, 10-25, 14-25.

GAME SUMMARY:
The Lions fell behind the Eagles early in the first set Friday night, and after a 4-0 by Northwest the Lions trailed 4-10. Keann White had two kills in another 4-0 for the Eagles, and the Lions soon trailed 9-22. Abi Broussard and Lord shared a block to end the game.
NU started the second set on a 6-2 run and quickly put the match out of reach for the Lions with an 8-1 run, brining the score to be 9-22 in the Eagles favor.
The Eagles carried their momentum into the third set and went up 3-8, and even though the third set was the Lions best set of the night, NU claimed the victory on a Emma Oates kill.
Senior
Taylor Howie lead the Lions with 7 kills, followed by
Faith Kraatz who finished the night with 6 kills, her season high for kills in only her sixth game as a Lion.
The Lions collected 25 digs on the night with
Kamaile Labanon leading the team with 9 digs.
Northwest used their size to their advantage and posted 11 blocks against the Lions on Friday night.
