KlAMATH FALLS – The Multnomah University women's basketball completed a hard fought road trip, falling to Oregon Tech 71-55 on Saturday evening.

GAME SUMMARY:

• The Lions stuck with Oregon Tech early, down by only two points after the first quarter of play.
• OIT outscored the Lions be five points in the second quarter to take a 34-27 lead into the break.
• The Owls shot well throughout the night, finishing with a shooting percentage of 51.9 percent compared to only 34 percent for MU.
• In the third quarter, Oregon Tech tallied eight more points than MU to put the game away.

 
KEY PERFORMERS:

• Sequoia Wheeler led the Lions with 21 points, surpassing the 20-point mark for the second game in a row.
• Following her was Alaygza Portis, Milan Woods and Paris Sanders with nine points each.  Sanders collected seven boards against the Owls.

The Lions return home next weekend as they host Corban University and Northwest Christian beginning on Feb. 1.
