PORTLAND – The Multnomah University women's basketball team fell short of a comeback after a big fourth quarter performance by Corban University who left Portland with a 72-60 victory over the Lions on Jim Skagen Court.

GAME SUMMARY:
- Corban edged out the Lions in the opening quarter of play, outscoring MU 20-13.
- After offensive struggles plagued both teams in the second, Corban took a 31-23 lead into the halftime break.
- The Lions stormed back in the third quarter, totaling 27 points to take a two-point lead heading to the final quarter of play.
- The Warriors found an offensive serge in the fourth, tallying 24 points to only 10 from the Lions.
KEY PERFORMERS:
- Sequoia Wheeler finished with a game-high to lead the Lions with 25 points while Alaygza Portis tallied 11 points and Bethany George had eight points.
- Paris Sanders collected five steals, four points and four rebounds.
- For Corban, Jordan Woodvine tallied 19 points while Emily Yost grabbed 15 boards with 14 points.
