PORTLAND – The Multnomah University men's basketball team picked up their second consecutive nonconference win, holding out for a 115-102 defeat of New Hope Christian College on Jim Skagen Court.

GAME SUMMARY:
- Both teams battled to begin the contest, working to a 28-28 tie with just under six minutes to play in the first half.
- MU finished the half on a 24-10 run, capped off by a three-pointer by Ben Grandle to give the Lions a 52-38 advantage at halftime.
- Multnomah shot 45 percent from the field including a 44 percent mark from three-point range.
- The Lions made 14 second half three-pointers to keep the lead as they completed their final nonconference game of the season, ending the year with a 9-3 record in those games.
