PORTLAND – Scoring struggles hurt the Lions on Tuesday as the women's basketball team dropped an 81-51 road contest against Warner Pacific.

GAME SUMMARY:

• Offense was hard to come by for the Lions, Warner Pacific took an 18-5 lead after the first quarter.
• MU bounced back, outscoring the Knights 23-18, going into the half down 36-28.
• The Lions cut the lead to four points before Warner used a 9-0 run to regain control.
• Warner shot 42 percent from the field while MU finished the game shooting 33 percent.

 
KEY PERFORMERS:

• Sequoia Wheeler led the Lions with 19 points while Erykah Campbell tallied eight points and Milan Woods and Celeste Browne collected six boards.
