PORTLAND – The Multnomah University men's basketball team came up short in their rematch with Warner Pacific, falling 87-82 on the road on Tuesday night.

GAME SUMMARY:

• Warner Pacific grabbed an early advantage, scoring the first 10 points of the game.
• Down by 13, MU ended the first half on a 16-6 run to cut the lead to three points at the break.
• As both teams traded points to start the second half, the Knights built a nine-point lead with 3:47 left to go.
• MU came within two points before Warner knocked down three free throws down the stretch to hold on to the win.

 
KEY PERFORMERS:

• Brett Blackstock finished with a team-high 24 points while Zach Richardson and Justin Martin totaled 22 and 20 points respectively.
• Ben Grandle collected eight rebounds and Martin added 10 assists.
