PORTLAND – The Multnomah University men's basketball team gave the No. 2 Ranked College of Idaho Yotes a scare on Saturday night, dropping a 99-88 battle on Jim Skagen Court.

GAME SUMMARY:
- College came out strong to open the first half as they built an early 12 points lead.
- With five minutes to go in the first half, MU went on a 20-6 scoring run to take the lead 47-45 at the break.
- With 13 lead changes in the second half, the Lions and Yotes continued to trade points as the night went on.
- Trailing 81-80 with 4:59 on the clock, C of I hit back to back three-pointers to take the lead for good.
- MU's 88 points was the most scored against the Yotes during the conference season.
- The Lions shot 47 percent on the night while C of I shot 51 percent, going 13-of-29 from deep.
KEY PERFORMERS:
- Brett Blackstock collected a team high 28 points followed by 21 points from Ben Grandle and 16 points from Justin Martin.
- Stepan Zavydovskyy collected 10 rebounds on the night to go along with nine points.
- For C of I, four players landed in double figures in points, led by Talon Pinckney and Keun Palu-Thompson who each had 19 points.
