PORTLAND – The Multnomah University volleyball team struggled offensively, falling to Eastern Oregon in straight sets (25-14, 25-12, 25-15) at home on Friday night.

GAME SUMMARY:
- Eastern Oregon performed well at the night all night, tallying 13 blocks on the night. EOU hit .233 all together while holding MU to a hitting percentage of -.060.
- MU built a 10-5 lead in the third set but were unable to capitalize as Eastern fought back to get the sweep.
KEY PERFORMERS:
- Marissa Rhodes tallied a match high 23 assists on the night while adding 10 digs.
- Miranda Halverson totaled seven kills and Rachel Leshikar collected 18 digs on the night.
- For Eastern, Alysson Crisp finished with five block assists and two solo blocks while Aspen Christiansen tallied 16 digs.

"Eastern is a great team and they stayed very consistent at the net all night," said Head Coach
Jenna Bouey. "Rachel and the defense did a great job for us in the back row tonight and our serving was strong, but our offense wasn't able to get the job done."
