MERCED, Calif. – The Multnomah University women's soccer team came up against a talented Cal Pac Conference opponent in the University of California, Merced, losing 6-1 on the road on Monday afternoon.

GAME SUMMARY:
- UC Merced found the back of the net early in the first half, scoring their first goal in the fifth minute of play.
- After falling behind 2-0, the Lions got on the board as Sabrina Araiza scored the first goal in MU women's soccer history to make it 2-1.
- The Bobcats pressured the Lions throughout the day, tallying 31 shots on goal as they built a 6-1 advantage over a young MU squad.
KEY PERFORMERS:
- MU keeper Lexis Law also made history on Monday, moving to No. 2 overall in the Cascade Collegiate Conference record book for most saves in a single contest, tallying 24 against the Bobcats.
