ROCKLIN, Calif. – In their first official action as a collegiate program, the Multnomah University women's soccer team put up a strong fight but found themselves on the wrong side of a 1-0 result, falling to William Jessup on the road on Saturday.

GAME SUMMARY:
- William Jessup applied pressure early, tallying a total of 19 shots in the contest while MU's offense struggled to come up with a shot in the first half of play.
- The Warriors finally broke the Lions' defense with seconds to go in the first half, rebounding a shot attempt in the bunch and punching the ball in the net.
- MU found a little more pressure offensively in the second half, recording three shots with two of them landing on target.
KEY PERFORMERS:
- Lexis Law played a stellar game in between the posts, recording four saves while stopping numerous shots before they happened.
- Jisel Ruelas and Desiree Arocha each recorded a shot on goal for MU.
