PORTLAND – The Multnomah University women's basketball team picked up their second straight win on Friday, defeating Salish Kootenai College on Jim Skagen Court.

GAME SUMMARY:

• The Lions took an early lead in the contest and never relinquished it, shooting 49 percent on the night,
• MU took a 43-19 lead into the half time break, outscoring the Bison 17-8 in the second quarter.
• Multnomah's defense held strong, holding Salish to a mark of 29 percent from the field.

 
KEY PERFORMERS:

• Rachelle Tau and Alaygza Portis led the Lions with 15 points each while Erykah Campbell added 14 points and Sequoia Wheeler added 10 points of her own.
• Campbell added 13 rebounds while Wheeler dished out eight assists.
